Who we are

We are people who love King Jesus. We gather together as family because the gospel is transforming our hearts and changing our lives. We gather together as a community of people with diverse stories from all over our neighbourhoods.

While we do gather together regularly to worship and love each other, we genuinely worship and love when we scatter into our neighbourhoods and love with generosity, asking where we can give more of ourselves away. We gather to learn, grow and be encouraged so that we can scatter and continue to be the church, not just go to one.

Our Rhythms

Following Jesus is not about a list of things to do but a new life rhythm. At Richmond we want to stretch ourselves to recognise that following Jesus can happen in all sorts of places in all sorts of ways!

In 2025, we are experimenting with a new set of fortnightly rhythms where we all gather together at Richmond one week to share stories, get inspired, encouraged and equipped and then on the alternate weeks, we explore different practices and ways of being church together that help us pay attention to what Jesus is doing in and around us.

We also gather as family in Gospel Groups during the week and in Discipleship Clusters to share openly, read the bible and pray together in coffee shops and homes.

The Gospel

We believe that Jesus is the King of all things. King Jesus came to seek and save the least, the last, and the lost and offer them citizenship in his Kingdom. Jesus gave his life and then rose again providing the way to real life. He continues to transform us from the inside out to live out the gospel that we believe. King Jesus is bringing his Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven and he invites us to partner with him to bring life and light to the whole world.
